Can you imagine calling a law firm and getting a business contract or lease reviewed within one business day? Many people are frustrated when they call law firms and are told that their important contracts can be reviewed in one to two weeks. On the back end, you know with every day that passes you may lose out on the deal you are trying to close.
This delay forces you into the uncomfortable but all too common situation where you say, “Well, I guess I will just sign it and figure out if it is bad for me later.” These are terrifying words for anyone to have to say. Do not accept this phrase as part of your vocabulary.
Rule for Contract Review
The reality is that a majority of contracts (75%) are boilerplate/template, but you need help with the most critical parts of the contract (25%) that can make or break you. Those “make or break you” terms typically come down to payment, representations, and warranties, indemnification/hold harmless, and choice of law/venue. If you can make sure those are fair and equitable, then the deal can typically move forward without delay.
One Business Day Review
We have a team of skilled attorneys who have handled a wide variety of legal contracts. Because the length of these contracts varies, our typical next business day review policy applies to contracts or agreements that are 10 pages or less. If they are 10-25 pages, then we need two business days to review them. If they are 25-75 pages, then we will need three business days to review them. If you need us to expedite the review of a contract, then we will try to accommodate your needs. Additional fees apply for expedited requests.
This covers a one-time review and suggestions for your contract. If you need our services for ongoing contract negotiations or revisions, that will be done at our normal hourly rate.

Step #2: Based on the length of your contract, our team will request payment and ask that you sign a representation letter so that we can start moving forward with reviewing your contract.
Step #3: You will be scheduled to meet (either in person or by video conference) with one of our skilled attorneys who will go over the items they suggest you change or take into account.
