Aaron is a highly qualified and broadly experienced legal advisor and strategy consultant at Counxel. With 26 years of experience, including ten years as a prosecutor (culminating in his service as Assistant Arizona Attorney General and Section Chief responsible for prosecuting racketeering and asset forfeiture to dismantle organized crime) and nine years as a Maricopa County Superior Court judge pro tem, Aaron envisions, designs, and executes innovative solutions to his clients’ problems. Having founded The Counter Racketeering Group (a new-to-the-world service company to exploit a $1+ billion market to “make crime pay” and compensate victims) and having served as Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Legal Officer of a $235 million pension/retirement funds investment accounting firm with 450 client-companies, Aaron is an entrepreneurial-minded, operations-focused, business law/litigation strategist who achieves successful outcomes for his clients that maximize their profit and minimize their risks. Aaron champions justice and capitalizes on his background providing strategic and tactical advice to a board, CEO, and Attorney General to ensure that his clients feel heard. With his incredible background, Aaron has gained a deep understanding of municipal laws and political nuances. A nationally renowned counter racketeering authority and subject matter specialist, Aaron is also a professor at Arizona State University teaching criminal law, white collar crime, and organized crime.
